About Me
Welcome to my Lego blog.
My name is
Isaac, and I'm currently in my second year studying
marketing. For my degree I've been asked to set up a blog for a topic I am interested in. I knew I just had to talk about my love for the
Lego company, as I've been playing with their famous bricks for as long as I can remember and really love the company. I'll also review the sets I already own and discuss if they are worth the hype and money or if you should skip the sets.
This Lego blog is your go-to spot for all things Lego! Whether you’re a seasoned builder or just curious about the latest sets, you’ll find honest reviews, so you know exactly what to expect before you start building. Plus, I keep you updated with the latest LEGO news, announcements, and cool community happenings. I like to keep up to date with the latest
Lego news in my free time, and this is where I'll share my thoughts. So grab your favourite bricks, settle in, and let’s explore the amazing, creative world of LEGO one set
at a time!
What to Expect
In my Lego review blog, I intend to cover a variety of interesting subjects that will interest collectors and amateur builders alike. I'll start by looking at the most recent releases for this month of October and what I am most excited for and well-known themes, including Marvel, Technic, and Ideas, and giving my thoughts on what I think of their value, playability, and design. To show how Lego's design philosophy has changed, I plan to include classic throwbacks alongside these, contrasting older sets, such as the early City or Castle collections, with their contemporary reboots. I'll provide reviews of the top Lego sets under £20 for readers looking for more reasonably priced options and discuss the differences between sets made for play and those meant for display.

Beyond individual set reviews, my blog will also delve into the evolution of Lego themes and their cultural impact, such as
Star Wars and Marvel, and which one Lego represents more effectively in terms of design accuracy, playability, and fan appeal. In addition, I plan to revisit nostalgic themes like Castle and
Pirates, assessing whether their modern reimaginings live up to the charm of the originals. I will also explore the differences between Technic and normal Lego sets, analysing how each theme approaches complexity, functionality, and realism in unique ways. Finally, I aim to discuss standout
Lego Ideas projects, celebrating the creativity of fan-designed sets and discussing which concepts truly deserve to be transformed into official releases.
Overall, I hope this blog not only reviews and compares Lego sets but also celebrates the creativity, passion, and nostalgia that make Lego such a unique part of so many people’s lives. Whether you’re a long-time collector or just rediscovering the joy of building, I want to inspire readers to see Lego as more than just a toy but as a form of art, imagination, and endless possibility.
Until next time, keep building!
