From fresh theme updates to long-awaited expansions, the previews have already sparked a lot of buzz across the community. Also, a quick apology for the slow posting lately; university assignments have been keeping me busy, but I’m getting back on track. Keep an eye out this weekend for a brand-new blog diving into the history of Lego’s iconic space theme!

The new Spider-Man 3: Spider-Man vs Sandman and Venom display set is one of the most exciting Marvel reveals we’ve had in a long time. We’ve never seen Lego tackle Spider-Man 3 before, so getting a dedicated battle scene from the film feels like a real treat for fans of the Raimi trilogy. The build captures the chaotic energy of the final showdown perfectly; Sandman’s towering sand form looks incredible, with layered plates and slopes giving him that shifting, unstable texture. Spider-Man web-swinging into the action adds great motion to the diorama, but the real highlight for me is the brand-new Venom minifigure. The black suit detailing and those extra tendrils give him a menacing presence that stands out instantly on display. It’s such a fun, dynamic set, and with it only costing £19.99, this is one set I’m personally buzzing to pick up; it’s about time this movie finally got some Lego love.

The new buildable Iron Man figure is an absolute standout, especially because it recreates the iconic Mark 3 suit from the original Iron Man movie. Lego has really nailed the shaping on this one; the armour looks sleek, powerful and surprisingly accurate for a brick-built model. The deep red and bright gold colours pop beautifully, and the designers have managed to capture the layered plating and curved chest design that makes the Mark 3 so instantly recognisable. The articulated limbs give it a strong display presence too, with the signature repulsor-blast pose making it feel like it’s been pulled straight from the film. The included Iron Man minifigure is a great bonus, creating a nice contrast between the towering build and the classic minifig scale. Overall, this is one of the best Marvel buildable display figures Lego has done so far and a brilliant tribute to Tony Stark’s first fully powered suit.

The new 15th Anniversary Ninjago Blacksmith Shop is a brilliant celebration of a theme that defined so many childhoods, mine included. This set recreates the blacksmith shop from the very first episode of the show, and the designers have captured that nostalgic charm perfectly. The architecture is gorgeous, with its curved roof tiles, hanging banners and warm wooden beams giving it that classic early-Ninjago atmosphere. It feels like stepping straight back into 2011. The little details really make it shine too: lanterns on the porch, the rocky base, autumn leaves, and the interior forge setup where Kai first trained. The minifigure selection is fantastic, bringing together familiar faces in updated anniversary designs that feel both modern and faithful. It’s the kind of set that hits you right in the nostalgia; not just a build, but a reminder of how the theme began and why so many of us fell in love with Ninjago in the first place. As an anniversary tribute, this blacksmith shop absolutely delivers.

This F1 movie set is a fantastic blend of sleek race-car design and film tie-in excitement, making it one of the most eye-catching Speed Champions–style builds Lego has released recently. The car itself looks brilliant in black and gold, with sharp angles, aerodynamic shaping and tons of printed sponsor details that give it an authentic Grand Prix feel. It really looks like a miniature version of a professional Formula 1 car, and the shaping around the nose and side pods is especially well done. The two driver minifigures of the main characters are a great addition, each wearing detailed racing suits based on the movie’s team, and the included helmets add that extra layer of realism. Overall, this is a stylish display piece and a fun playset wrapped into one, and it’s a great pick for both motorsport fans and anyone who liked the film!

The LEGO Technic Ford GT40 is an absolute standout for car enthusiasts and Technic collectors alike. This model captures the aggressive, low-slung look of the real GT40 with impressive accuracy, from the iconic black-and-white racing stripes to the bold gold rims that instantly evoke the 1966 Le Mans legend. The shaping is phenomenal for a Technic build; the designers have managed to blend panel work and exposed mechanisms in a way that feels both authentic and visually striking. Functional details like the working steering, opening doors, and the realistic V8 engine bring that signature Technic engineering flair, making the build feel tactile and mechanical in the best way. It’s one of those sets that looks brilliant on display yet still invites you to pick it up and explore how everything moves beneath the shell
That wraps up my look at some of the most exciting upcoming Lego releases. It’s been great diving back into these new sets even while I’ve been swamped with uni work. Thanks for sticking around and being patient with the slower posts lately; your support honestly means a lot. I’ll be back this weekend with a full blog exploring the history of Lego Space themes, from Classic Space all the way to today’s modern interpretations. Stay tuned; there’s plenty more to come!
Until next time, keep building!
